A feasibility study found the domestic market too crowded to justify a new chemical plant, and pointed the client to exports

Market entryChemicals (B2B)

A client wanted to be the first in the country to make a particular chemical, and asked us whether the plant would pay.

We sized demand by application, mapped domestic producers and imports, and examined price and logistics pressures on the existing players.

The domestic market was already crowded, and several producers had shut under import pressure. We advised against building for the domestic market and pointed the client to exports. The capital stayed in the bank.
